About

A place for kids to learn, grow, and enjoy the game
Savannah Wolves Youth Basketball Academy
At Wolves Academy, basketball is more than drills and games. We give young players a place to learn the game, build confidence, compete, and enjoy getting better. Our training combines structured teaching with competition, helping players develop real skills and understand how to use them in games. Whether an athlete is learning the game or preparing for higher-level competition, the goal stays the same: help them become a better, more confident basketball player.
MEET THE FOUNDER
COACH JAY
Coach Jay is the Founder, Director, and Head Trainer of Wolves Academy. His coaching approach focuses on teaching players how to think, make decisions, and solve problems in real game situations—not simply memorize drills. Wolves Academy incorporates principles from the Constraints-Led Approach (CLA), using game-like situations, guided challenges, and purposeful competition to help players learn when, why, and how to use their skills. The result is training designed to develop more than technique. Players learn to read the game, make better decisions, adapt, compete, and play with confidence.

OUR MISSION
KEEPING KIDS IN THE GAME
Our mission is to create an environment where young players can learn, compete, improve, and enjoy basketball enough to keep playing.
We challenge athletes while meeting them where they are--helping them build skills, confidence, basketball IQ, and a genuine love for the game.
